When Illinois legalized medical cannabis in August of 2013, there weren’t a lot of resources people could rely on for answers. Seeing the opportunity to help people navigate legal access to medical cannabis, the idea for The Cannabis Community was born.
At first, we started as a Facebook group, curating news, sharing events, and answering the community’s most pressing questions on obtaining legal access. As the group expanded and evolved, so did the needs of our members.
We soon started developing guides, videos, events, podcasts, shows, and other media to keep up with the community’s growing interest in cannabis.
Today whether people want to obtain access, learn how to cook, bake, grow, or meet other cannabis-curious consumers, The Cannabis Community is your one-stop guide to all things cannabis.
