2 weeks agoGreat place, but to often see hey have 25+ customers in the store with maybe 1-2 people working the counter. Ends up taking over an hour to get in and out, which could be easily be solved by having more people scheduled during busy times, this issue always happens between 5-7 pm. With that being the busiest time you’d think he store would be properly staffed!

3 months agoFirst time visit and will definitely return here. Easy to shop at the large screens or walk up counter if you haven't pre ordered on their website. Promptly greeted and asked if I had any questions without being over. It was pretty busy but checkout moved fast and Kevin was helpful and very polite.

2 months agoA good experience every time I visit. Shout out to Lola for being so helpful. And as I left today, she wished me a good Sunday, knowing I had entirely nothing to do but enjoy my lovely purchase. A celebratory self-care day!

a week agoUpdated review Legally, I looked into it: Illinois law grants medical cannabis patients priority access, but only when there’s a shortage or limited supply—it doesn’t guarantee priority service at all times. There’s nothing in the statutes saying medical patients deserve priority during regular operations. I get why dispensaries like pre‑orders—they can run lean on staff and boost profit. But that shouldn’t come at the expense of walk‑ins. If I walk in, I should have access to knowledgeable, friendly bud-tenders—not be dumped into a kiosk with zero human help or recommendations. It feels like a “turn-and-burn” system: pick your own and leave. If that’s the model, skip the kiosk and don’t even pretend to offer walk‑in service. To make matters worse, the last time I came in I was the first person in line outside—waiting well before they opened at 10 AM. But once the doors opened, the gentleman at the front let a medical patient cut ahead of me and go in first. When I questioned it, he told me “that’s the law.” Well, if you’re going to enforce policy, know the law: medical patients only receive priority during product shortages—not during normal operations. That kind of treatment doesn’t sit right. Prior review below The setup at Zen Leaf St. Charles could really use some improvement for walk-in customers. When I arrived, no one explained that I could use the kiosk to order. After I was registered I was to go to the “first line for walk-ins,” but that was all the direction I got. Walk-ins have to wait behind medical patients and people with pre-orders, which makes it feel like you’re being penalized for not ordering ahead or being new. As someone who prefers to talk with staff and get recommendations, it was a frustrating experience. That said, once I finally got to the counter, the staff member who helped me was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to pick out some great products. He really made up for the rough start. The staff is solid — they just need a better system to help walk-in customers feel welcomed and informed.

3 weeks agoEveryone was super nice and someone is at the door to help you out as soon as you walk in. Impressive selection and worth the extra drive. It is always in and out when I go there. I was impressed by how quickly I made it through a full line last time I was there. Love love love all of the books. Ive been to countless dispensaries throughout California and Illinois and this is in my top 3.
