The Cannabis Community is operated by AV Social Strategies. Advertising, sponsorships, affiliate relationships and merchandise help support our publishing and community work. This policy explains how those relationships are presented.
How TCC earns revenue
We may receive payment for advertisements, sponsored articles, newsletters, videos, events and other placements, or commissions when readers use qualifying partner links. We also sell TCC merchandise through our Shopify store.
Paid placement may affect the visibility or order of featured businesses, products and services. A featured listing is not a quality certification. Our coverage and directory do not include every available business or offer.
Recognizing paid content
Sponsored placements must use clear labels such as “Advertisement” or “Sponsored.” Content involving a commission, free product or another material benefit must disclose that relationship near the recommendation or link. A disclosure on this page alone does not replace a disclosure where the recommendation appears.

Editorial standards
Payment does not buy a guaranteed favorable review. Editorial work should distinguish reporting, opinion and paid promotion, identify relevant commercial relationships, and correct material errors. Advertisers may provide information about their own products; TCC retains control of editorial decisions.
Our standards are a commitment to review and correction, not a promise that every historical article is current. Check publication dates and verify time-sensitive information before relying on it.
Requirements for advertisers
Advertisers must have the rights to submitted material and provide accurate, supportable claims. Ads must comply with applicable law, age and geographic restrictions, and relevant platform rules. We do not accept deceptive claims, fabricated reviews, misleading health guarantees, or promotion of unlawful transactions.
TCC may reject, pause or remove material that conflicts with these standards. Placement, pricing, cancellation and deliverables are governed by the applicable advertising agreement.
Third-party products and services
An advertisement or listing does not guarantee a provider’s licensing, safety, availability or results. Confirm eligibility, price, terms and qualifications directly with the provider. Third-party merchants handle their own orders, services, billing, support and refunds. TCC merchandise purchases follow the policies shown in our store.
