I am CEO & Co-Founder at www.myfloradna.com. Also I am a research scientist with more than 12 years of experience in plant breeding, genomics and bioinformatics. Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for working creatively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, as well as for solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of technical challenges, I have a history of contributing directly to organizational growth throughout my career.

My research focal points include: plant breeding, genome sequencing, genome editing, and data analysis. Delivering superior administration on the latter areas of expertise requires utilization of effective communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as research acumen, project management, and team collaboration expertise to support efficiency and maximum returns.

Currently, I am the Gene Discovery Research Scientist at the University of California Berkeley’s Innovative Genomic Institute and ESPM Department. Under my leadership, I am accountable for directing and overseeing the “Application of Next Generation Sequencing and CRISPR/Cas9 in tomato, pine, and plum”.
