a month agoThis is a fantastic place to escape on vacation and to experience the laid back pace of Jamaica! It's an intimate experience so you're not dealing with hustle. You'll enjoy personal service from friendly staff, a beautiful cove for swimming (including tidal pools full of shells!), an onsite dispensary with wonderful locally cultivated product, fresh fish dinners, and stars so bright you'll never want to sleep -- but eventually you'll fall asleep to the sound of the waves. This is a secluded spot that gets you close to nature so you can slow down. It's easy to book excursions or walk to nearby water holes. HIGHLY recommend. Thank you Taj, Maurice and all the staff!

3 months agoA beautiful hidden gem, so serene and peaceful. The staff is so warm and helpful for anything you need and the food is delicious. Great location to nearby sites like the blue hole, Bob Marley mineral springs and easy drive to Negril for an afternoon, evening or day trip. Staff can help arrange rides and any other excursions. Cove is perfect for snorkeling and lots of gear available for such and kayaking and paddle riding . I’ll be beach again and again.

3 months agoIt was my second time at coral cove now and it was the most beautiful stay! Even considering that it was after the hurricane. We had wifi, water filters, electricity, hot water and everything that we were worried about while booking a stay in an affected hurricane area. The rooms are all different and individual and in the most unique and cozy way. The team of coral cove welcomed us with open arms and would find solutions for all type of requests. Even fishing tours, excursions etc. NOW lets talk about the food 🥹💫 VEGAN options, freshly catched fish, a wide variation of options and the best service. You have access to pool and sea and beach with options to do kayak tours etc. I would and will always come back to cc. Big up the whole team! We were here while doing some relief work in westmoreland and we couldn’t have chosen a better place.

2 months agoI just got back from Coral Cove Wellness Resort in Little Bay, and honestly… it was one of the best trips of my life. I went with my best friends, and from the moment we arrived, it felt less like a resort and more like coming home. What I loved most is how intimate and uncrowded it is. No packed pools, no fighting for chairs. Just peaceful ocean views, fresh air, and space to truly relax. The whole place has this cozy, family vibe where everyone feels welcome. The food was incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every meal felt homemade and nourishing, the kind of food that makes you feel good long after you’ve finished eating. And everything was spotless and well-kept, which made it even easier to fully unwind. One of the absolute highlights was going out on a fishing trip with Nate the Ocean Hunter. Such a fun, authentic local experience — out on the water, salty air, good laughs, and real island adventure. It felt personal and unforgettable, not touristy at all. If you go, book a trip with him — you won’t regret it. Plus, it’s super close to Negril, so you get the peaceful, hidden-gem feel of Little Bay while still being just minutes from beaches, cliffs, and fun outings. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful, soul recharging place with amazing food, genuine people, and unique experiences, Coral Cove is it. Already dreaming about going back. 💛

3 months agoTLDR: Beautiful and serene but still working through some issues. Still highly recommend! I arrived on in the middle of the night after being picked up by their driver, Keno. The roads from Mobay are a mess as a result of Hurricane Melissa. It took two hours to get to the resort, a comfortable ride, and I was personally greeted by the owner, Steve. He was able to scrounge up some muffins and cookies since I hadn't had anything to eat most of the day. It was a very long travel day from the states. The cottage I reserved wasn't ready because of some issue but they put me in a beautiful big room overlooking the ocean. I think it was called Starlight. You climbed up a wooden spiral staircase to get to it. The next day they moved my things into my cottage. The cottage and the previous room were both nice in their own ways. I couldn't find the shower at the cottage; turned out it was an outdoor one! The beds here are quite possibly the best I've ever slept in! Throughout the course of my stay, I enjoyed the gorgeous weather and surroundings. There's an intimate, serene gem to this resort. No cookie-cutter mega buildings or parties. It was just was I needed to celebrate my 50th birthday and the new year. There are probably no more than 20 rooms spread across some villas and cottages. I love the architecture and natural (not manicured) landscape. During my 3 days there, I never left the resort. I felt safe enough to leave my door unlocked and belongings wherever and the were still there where I left them. I read my Kindle while relaxing on the hammock or one of the many lounge chairs. Sometimes I just closed my eyes to listen to the waves crashing and feel the sun or my skin. 🥰 I got the pleasure of meeting the owners, Steve and Margaret, and their family. There were 2 other families there who were part of the resort family plus just a handful of us non-family guests. I got to know a couple from the US and met another couple from Canada. One night I met a couple from England who just stopped by for a drink at the poolside/beachside car. There was also a group there doing humanitarian water infrastructure work post-hurricane. Aside from some confusion about the food (more later), the food was delicious. The chef (Maurice) and his sous prepared breakfast to order and lunch and dinner buffets. These were small buffets with real food. I tried multiple types of fish, rice, soup, and greens/veggies. I even tried curry goat for the first time and it was surprisingly good! I twice had the Jamaican basically dish - saltfish and ackee - because it was soooo good. Ackee looks and kind of tastes like scrambled eggs but it's actually a fruit. It was served with callalou and fritters or lightly fried dumplings. The staff was kind and helpful. Shavin mostly worked at the bar and is an absolute sweetheart. She's become a friend of mine! She's funny and professional and makes sure all of us are take care of. Other staff there whose names I cannot recall (sorry!!) were helpful and nice! The owners' grandchildren loved Shavin and Nathan. We did have some issues that seemed to stem from hurricane recovery. The POS system was down and the "manager" Taj didn't know what he was doing and had horrible bordering on shady communication. I guess he was filling in for the usual lady Dianne. No prices for food or drinks were ever communicated during our stay. Advertised services like the psychedelic journey, free yoga, and a dispensary didn't exist. The very first breakfast was cold, watery eggs with some toast and a toaster that didn't work. There was no wifi with the exception of Starlink near the main building. This got a little better later on but I was still charged $13/ day to have spotty Verizon travel pass service. Thank goodness for the owner Steve being there! He's a boots on the ground owner and was working just as much as his workers on things like fixing the seawall and putting up shade sails. Another guest and I expressed our dissatisfaction about all of the issues and Steve did everything he could to make it right! Thanks!!!
