Where Did The Name Come From?
The name Grasshopper Club, represents the learning, exploration, and connection to grass. In addition, Grasshopper Club is a play on words with “GrasShopper” or Grass Shopper, emphasizing the connection to cannabis we all have.
How Does Grasshopper Club Qualify For Social Equity?
Having direct experience with the war on Drugs, co-owner Chuck Brewer was arrested for cannabis possession as a young adult.
When his brother, Matthew Brewer was exposed to the Illinois cannabis industry in 2015, they both immediately realized the lack of diversity and racial disparities in the industry.
This motivated both brothers and their mother, Dianne Brewer, to join forces as a family and apply for a license. From there, the Grasshopper Club was born.

I (highly) recommend researching the alternative of THC/CBD to pills or shots. Lots of medicinal uses. Must talk with lann, super knowledgeable about all the products, will walk you through any and all questions or concerns. Great experience.

2 months agoI’m an infrequent consumer who still gets confused by terminology, labels, etc. I need to be walked through products and talk with someone about what I’m looking for. The staff here are so friendly and they’ll take their time explaining anything, answering questions, and discussing options. They’ll even try to find you products that match your needs and are on sale! The music is always great in here too and it’s just a really nice shop. This will be my go to moving forward.

4 months agoThis is such a great place! Me being a family orientated individual, I couldn't ask for anything more from this incredible dispensary. Everyone is so knowledgeable and will steer you in the direction that you're trying to go wether you're a veteran to the industry or just spreading your wings. You can feel the family vibes in this place, and if we're talking quality, you don't have to look any further. a month agoThis place has the best employees hands down. Seriously from the door to when you are walking out it is consistently the smoothest, friendliest and quickest experience I have ever had at a dispo. But the employees deserves a better website / ordering system. Make sure the sales shown are accuarate, it has happened to me and my friends more than once. I would think it makes a day harder on everyone.... But I'm not even deducting a star thats how great this dispo is.

3 months agoThe manager lied on me said she asked me something twice when I was asked once and I came back two more times afterwards spent money with no problem but today the light skin security lady started saying I was banned out something I didn’t know about then I asked her how she said I kept being asked I told her I was only asked once the black security guard man would tell y’all so they kept acting rude I snatched my id and left I’ll take my business elsewhere since the manager lied on me!! I’m pretty sure I’m not the only person she ran off she’s running off your customers making up lies!!! I came everyday spent $50 or better but now I go to the one on Roosevelt the workers are nicer and they have better deals!
