Where Did The Name Come From?
The name Grasshopper Club, represents the learning, exploration, and connection to grass. In addition, Grasshopper Club is a play on words with “GrasShopper” or Grass Shopper, emphasizing the connection to cannabis we all have.
How Does Grasshopper Club Qualify For Social Equity?
Having direct experience with the war on Drugs, co-owner Chuck Brewer was arrested for cannabis possession as a young adult.
When his brother, Matthew Brewer was exposed to the Illinois cannabis industry in 2015, they both immediately realized the lack of diversity and racial disparities in the industry.
This motivated both brothers and their mother, Dianne Brewer, to join forces as a family and apply for a license. From there, the Grasshopper Club was born.

She was not only super friendly and professional but also incredibly knowledgeable about all the products. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for and gave me spot-on recommendations that completely exceeded my expectations The prices are great, and they offer awesome deals that make it even better. But honestly, what made this place stand out was the customer service Amanda truly went above and beyond. You can tell she loves what she does and cares about creating a great experience. This place is now my go-to dispensary, and I recommend it to anyone looking for quality products and even better people. Even though the staff has changed a few times over the years, everyone I've met here is super friendly and always extra helpful with any questions. Unlike some places, the vibe feels really cozy and welcoming, which I really appreciate. A special shout out to Eric for the amazing work hes been doing. I’d definitely recommend Grasshopper Club – not just because of the great staff, but also because of their awesome selection!

2 months agoVisited the Logan Sqaure location last night and had a pleasant welcoming experience. Martha the budtender consultant was very kind and informative and helped me figure out my loyalty email issue and got me on board to collecting my points. Excellent work 4 thumbs up ! I left really happy and then got home and proceeded to get super stoned thanks Martha for being very informative and helpful and I’m loving the deals , keep them coming It’s nice having you guys in the nieghborhood.

2 months agoI came in after work stressed from the day and ready to get what I normally buy and be on my way… but Amanda provided much more than just my order. She was very informative, courteous, funny, and aligned with me. She suggested a couple of products that I would like based on what I was buying. The interaction I had with Amanda didn’t take any longer than the time I intended to spend at Grasshopper. I felt so well informed with the knowledge Amanda shared! Thank you! I will be back!

It's rare to find a place where you're actually stoked to see the people behind the counter, but this place has that. I've never experienced any issues or inconveniences, and they are always hooking it up with great deals.
