A New Era of Cannabis
nuEra is a vertically integrated Cannabis company located in Illinois. We were a pioneer in the Illinois cannabis market, one of the first licensed operators in the medical pilot program, and have been serving the Illinois medical cannabis community since 2016 with locations in Chicago, Aurora, East Peoria, Pekin, Urbana, and Champaign.
The name nuEra highlights the fact that legalization in Illinois didn’t just change the laws on the books – it unleashed a whole new era of cannabis.
An era in which cannabis is safer, higher quality, and available in a greater variety than ever before. Canna-consumers have more methods of consumption, more strains, more precise dosage labeling, and better information about the effects of each of our products than any generation before them.
Our newly acquired cultivation center in Central Illinois currently produces solventless concentrates, flower, and prerolls in a variety of strains with corresponding effects such as pain relief, relaxation, focus, uplift, and more.
We’re in the process of expanding our product offerings to include edibles, vaporizer cartridges, tinctures, and topicals to the Illinois Cannabis market. Welcome to a new era of cannabis!

a month agoI visited mid-morning for my first time yesterday after ordering from online. I had shopped around, and the store had the best deals in the area for a med patient. My check-in was met with friendly faces who were quick and efficient. Joey, my knowledgeable budtender for this trip, was super personable, friendly, and helpful. Joey was very welcoming and even offered me a comfortable chair to sit during the transaction. I manage daily, long term pain, so this was a soothing respite. My products were also 🔥 for a reasonable price. I feel most growers do not cure weed long enough in IL, so I was pleasantly surprised with my purchases. I will definitely be back and will be making this my local shop of choice.

April, the medical patient advisor , helped me with getting my med card and the process was easy. I was nervous and her energy was very calming. It is a no judgement zone. They are dog friendly also ❤️

6 months agonuEra in Urbana is one of the best dispensaries I’ve been to. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and spot-on with product recommendations. Angel, the manager, is so sweet and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming, community-based vibe. I dropped off a copy of my book for her, and she was genuinely appreciative, which speaks to the close-knit energy they’ve built. I recently checked out with Kashif, and he was really nice and made an effort to build rapport during the visit. It’s small interactions like that that show how much the team values customer experience. I truly love what nuEra stands for and look forward to continuing as both a loyal customer and future supporter.
