nuEra in Urbana is one of the best dispensaries I’ve been to. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and spot-on with product recommendations. Angel, the manager, is so sweet and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming, community-based vibe. I dropped off a copy of my book for her, and she was genuinely appreciative, which speaks to the close-knit energy they’ve built. I recently checked out with Kashif, and he was really nice and made an effort to build rapport during the visit. It’s small interactions like that that show how much the team values customer experience. I truly love what nuEra stands for and look forward to continuing as both a loyal customer and future supporter.

Tyler was incredibly helpful and patient with my questions and the fact I added extra things to my order. He's incredibly kind and, from what I got when we were talking, he cares about being patient and as helpful as he can be. He made what was a long/rough go so much smoother with his kindness, friendly customer service and his incredibly helpful/positive manner. Please make sure Tyler knows this? I love shopping here for the discounts and (usually) great staff, and have been a loyal frequent flyer for some time, but on Nov. 15th i finally had a bad interaction with a budtender, Jack. I came in as a walk-in customer, not overly close to closing time, and was expecting to wait, not in a rush to get through the line. From the moment I entered the walk in line, Jack had come from behind the counter and practically forced the ordering tablet into my hands, all while telling me that ‘once i order i can switch to the pickup line’ in a very condescending tone, as if I was a child who needed to be walked through the system. I wasn’t very interested in placing a kiosk order because i had wanted to actually discuss a bit with my budtender before i made a choice, and fellow customers in the walk-in line had the same sentiment. Jack continued to push me to order on the kiosk, and when i said something about being there as a walk-in to talk, he got upset at the rebuttal. When it was finally my turn to approach the counter, Jack was the only budtender available and as i stepped up he very rudely said ‘Sorry, actually I am not going to help you I am going on my lunch’ and then proceeds to practically slam my rosin jar down at the next available budtender’s desk, as he was clearly not pleased that I wasnt letting him rush me out of the store. I love all the staff at both locations in town, but this was beyond acceptable behavior especially when there was no hostility to begin with.

Tatiana and Jack made my experience at nuEra awesome! I’ve never been to a nuEra before and didn’t know what to expect and the friendliness and awesome atmosphere was definitely felt as soon as I walked in the door. The cheap prices and the wide variety of product not only on the website but in store on the sales floor (bowls, papers batteries, even Puffco’s and things like that) were very awesome as well.
