Case study: Remission of metastatic breast cancer may have been due to use of cannabis oil and magic mushrooms
“A small team of medical researchers from the U.K. and the U.S. has found that a cancer patient may have put her cancer into remission by taking cannabis oil and magic mushrooms along with receiving a standard course of chemotherapy. In their paper published in the journal Drug Science, Policy and Law, the group describes their study of the circumstances surrounding the patient and the possible ramifications of her experiences.”

New York Receives More Than 900 Retail Dispensary Applications
“Individuals who qualify for the conditional licenses must have been arrested in New York for a cannabis offense (or have a family member who was) prior to March 31, 2021, and have operated a profitable business for at least two years. Licenses will also have access to storefronts that are currently being secured and will be built out into dispensary spaces by the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), the report says.”
Buffalo firefighter’s termination raises questions about state protections for some medical marijuana patients
“The issue here, though, is that Scott Martin, the former firefighter, is a registered medical marijuana patient for post-traumatic stress disorder and back pain, and was at the time of his termination. Martin has said that medical marijuana helped him stop using the more-dangerous opiate painkillers he was prescribed.”

“He was named director of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority in January 2020, and worked in that role for nearly a year. Study shows Oklahoma as the ‘most curious’ state about CBD
“The analysis revealed that Oklahoma is number one in the nation as the state most curious about CBD. With a total search score of 562, Oklahoma made the top of the list for its population having the highest search levels for the phrases “CBD”, “CBD Oil”, “Medical marijuana”, “Cannabis”, “Buy CBD”, “What is CBD”, and “THC” combined. Additionally, Oklahoma was the second-most state to search for “Medical Marijuana.””
‘Yes on 4’ ballot campaign launches push to legalize marijuana in Md.
“If the measure passes, Marylanders who are at least 21 will be able to legally possess up to 1.5 ounces of cannabis and grow two marijuana plants out of public view, beginning July 1, 2023. Under legislation approved by state lawmakers earlier this year, the sale of marijuana remains a crime.”

“On Thursday, the campaign to pass Question 4 launched a new ad campaign featuring a website and video encouraging voters to support cannabis legalization in Maryland.
